How to use Frecious?

You can use Frecious as a detox or a daily boost of vitamins.

Detox: we recommend doing a detox two times a year. Many people do our seasonal detox four times a year. This is a mild detox where you eat three meals a day.

Daily: we recommend drinking one juice every day. Here's how to make it a healthy habit: drink your defrosted bottle from the fridge and immediately put a new one from the freezer in the fridge for the next day.

For optimal "body absorption," drink your juice no later than 15 minutes before you eat something.

Of course, you can also drink a slow juice every other day or every working day. It will definitely still have an impact on your health.

How many bottles can fit in my freezer?

All of our products stay fresh in your freezer for up to a year. The shape of the bottles allows you to fit more than you think.

Freezer compartment at the top of your refrigerator. An empty compartment will hold 40-50 bottles.

How do I thaw the juices?

Healthy Frecious Habit
Thawed in time, every day, while you're building a healthy habit into your life, forming it into a ritual. 

Take your thawed juice from the fridge and immediately take a new bottle from the freezer, and put it in the fridge for the next day. 

For optimal "body absorption", drink your juice no later than 15 minutes before you eat something. 

Defrost quickly?
Did you forget to put your bottle in the fridge? You can put it in plenty of lukewarm water for 20 minutes. With the emphasis on ample. You can use the sink, for example.

Defrost overnight?
Option 1: put the bottle in a (measuring) cup of cold water and put it in the fridge. Otherwise, it will take at least 20-24 hours in the refrigerator.

Option 2: put the bottle in a (measuring) cup of cold water and put it at room temperature. Some people prefer to do this because it makes your juice a little less cold on your stomach. 

At room temperature
Without aids, thawing takes about 3 to 4 hours at room temperature.

For on-the-go?
In our convenient Frecious bottle holder, take your juice with you while it's frozen. That way your slow juice thaws slowly (in 4 to 5 hours), stays cold a little longer, and won't get your bag wet from condensation.

When do I drink Frecious?

For optimal results, drink Frecious 15 minutes before you eat anything. Body absorption is then maximized.

Drink your thawed juice from the fridge and immediately take a new bottle from the freezer, and put it in the fridge for the next day. 

Having trouble digesting? Then drink your Frecious an hour after eating.

Is Frecious gluten and lactose-free?

Yes, all of our slow juices, shots, and elixirs are 100% gluten and lactose-free. Frecious is suitable for vegans.

So are the Juice & Dinner meals.

What do the juices taste like?

Healthy! For some people, that takes some getting used to. Juice is often associated with fruit. Most juices you see are fruit juices.

Frecious is all about vegetables. That means less fruit or no fruit at all. Our 100% category only contains vegetables. These flavors are very potent and some are even savory.

The 85% category is a little sweeter because they contain more fruit. The 70% category is for "newbies," these flavors with 30% fruit taste surprisingly delicious. 

A few elixirs and health shots are in the category "super healthy is not always delicious". Brace yourself for the ginger shot!

I'm allergic to an ingredient, but I would still like to try Frecious. What should I do?

You can put together your own selection of juices. Within the daily boxes, you can also change the content of the box yourself by using the plus and minus buttons). For example, the Celery Slim contains celery, a known allergen.

If you choose a detox box in which you cannot change the content yourself, please indicate your wishes in the comment field, so we can replace the juices for you. 


How does a Frecious membership work?

Very flexible. You can adjust everything in between each new delivery.

Important: you pay per 4, 8, or 12 weeks, depending on the delivery frequency you prefer: we call this the delivery/payment frequency. 

In a Green membership, you get a 10% cash discount. In a Green+ membership 20% discount. With both memberships, you get 10% extra juices (for example, with a daily 40 box you get 4 free juices). 

So in a Green or Green+ membership, you don't pay €4.35 per bottle but €3.56 or €3.16 per bottle respectively. 

How does the payment work?
So you don't pay "per month" but per 4, 8, or 12 weeks. You choose the delivery/payment frequency. You can also change this at any time.

Not at home at the fixed time? 
You can also change the delivery time up to a few days in advance. Your payment/delivery frequency will automatically change accordingly.

We will send you a reminder SMS on the last day that you can still change everything.

Important: remember that - if you do not change anything - your last chosen options in terms of composition, frequency, and delivery time will be repeated for your next delivery.

For the first delivery you pay in advance and from the second delivery, you pay by direct debit. Not per month, but per delivery.

Can I reschedule or pause my delivery day?

You can always reschedule the delivery until the day you get the reminder from us via text.

Let us know what date and time block you want to change the delivery to. We will then change it for you.

Payment/elivery frequency
This changes automatically, as does payment by direct debit.

Can I change the contents of my membership order? 

Yes, you can also change the contents of your box before each new delivery. The amount will change automatically via direct debit.

You can make changes up until the day we send the reminder SMS. This is normally 2 days before*. You can make changes as often as you like.

* For Monday deliveries it is 4 days in advance.

Make changes in the member portal 
You can make changes yourself in your Frecious account under 'active subscriptions'.

Via text or e-mail
Make your changes via e-mail. You can also reply to our reminder text: do this immediately and no later than the day you receive the SMS. 

What is the minimum order amount for a membership?

Excluding the membership discount, it is €79 per delivery. You pay per delivery, so it depends on the delivery/payment frequency (4, 8, or 12 weeks) that you choose.

Including the membership discount:
€63.20 per delivery in a Green+ membership
€71.10 per delivery in a Green membership

What is the minimum number of orders that I have to purchase?

With a Green membership, you need to commit to a minimum of 3 deliveries. With a Green+ membership, it is 5 deliveries.

This requirement refers to the number of deliveries, not the size or number of boxes per delivery.

How are memberships billed?

When you sign up for a membership, you make the payment for the first delivery immediately via iDeal or credit card. Subsequent deliveries are paid through automatic direct debit. The amount will be debited within 10 days after the delivery.

It is possible to use a gift card to cover the payment for your first membership delivery. For subsequent deliveries, the payment will be automatically deducted from your account.

If you modify the delivery date or the contents of your box during your membership, the payment and delivery frequency will automatically adjust accordingly.

Do discount codes apply when I have a Frecious membership?

No, discount codes are intended to attract new customers. However, as a member, you always have the privilege of receiving new (125ml or 200ml) juices first, including seasonal flavors, which are automatically and free of charge added to your next delivery. You don't have to do anything for that.

Members enjoy exclusive benefits of up to 30% off. You receive 10% free bottles and up to 20% discount on your subscription. A bottle costs €3.16 instead of €4.35.

How do I cancel my membership?

On average, our members receive 14-16 deliveries! After reaching the minimum number of deliveries (3 or 5), your membership remains active, but you can cancel at any time.

Furthermore, you will receive a delivery notification 3 days in advance: you will never receive a box if you don't want it. Tip: If your freezer is still full or if you want to take a break for a while, schedule your next delivery further into the future. You will always receive timely a notification.

Can I have a business membership with Frecious?

Sure, you can start your membership online through the SHOP. Don't forget to include the company name in your account details.

Freezer on loan
This is possible within a Green+ membership and for orders of 100 bottles or more per delivery.

Providing to employees for free
By offering Frecious as a part of the workplace amenities, employers can promote a healthy lifestyle and provide their employees with a refreshing and nourishing beverage option.

Employers are allowed to provide Frecious to employees for free, similar to consumables like coffee, tea, or fruit, as long as the bottles are not provided together with other food items such as sandwiches or salads. The juices should not be part of a meal. 

Although Frecious falls under the WKR (Work-Related Costs) regulation and should be accounted for accordingly, it can be assigned a zero value.


What is a detox/juice cleanse?

A juice cleanse can help your body eliminate toxins. Additionally, it is often a great way to kickstart a healthier lifestyle or to maintain one.

During a juice cleanse, you commit to avoiding certain taxing foods for a few days, such as saturated fats, meat, refined sugar, and alcohol.

Why should I do a detox/juice cleanse? Doesn't my liver and kidneys already take care of that?

Your organs, such as your liver, do indeed constantly cleanse your body. They work full-time, 24/7.

With a juice cleanse, you give your organs a helping hand. By reducing the workload on them, they can function optimally. This leads to a state of rest and purity for your body, resulting in a feeling of increased vitality.

How long should I follow a juice cleanse?

If your lifestyle is below a 3 on a scale of 1 to 5, we recommend the mild 7-day detox or the 3-day juice cleanse.

We compare a 3-day juice cleanse to "cleaning up the biggest mess." The 5-day juice cleanse is comparable to "vacuuming and mopping."

When should I do a cleanse? Choose a period when you don't have too many social commitments and avoid intense exercise during that time.

I am pregnant. Can I still do a detox/juice cleanse?

We do not recommend juice cleanses for pregnant women. However, we have created a special Pregnancy Box for pregnant women and those who are breastfeeding. It is filled with juices that you can safely consume. This way, you can introduce your baby to life with plenty of vegetables.

Will I lose weight from a juice cleanse?

That can be a pleasant side effect, but it is not the primary goal of a detox. Permanent weight loss can occur, but often it is mainly water weight that is lost during the cleanse, which can be regained after the detox.

It also depends on your lifestyle after the detox. For some people, the weight loss during the detox serves as a motivating factor to make positive changes in terms of exercise and adopting a healthier lifestyle.

When am I not allowed to do a detox?

Our Mild (seasonal) detox is suitable for everyone in all situations, as you still have three meals a day.

Fasting is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women, children in their growth phase, and individuals who are chronically ill, severely underweight, or have an eating disorder.

Can there be side effects from a detox/juice cleanse?

In some cases, yes. Side effects such as mild headaches and feeling lightheaded are common during a detox/ juice cleanse.

Severe nausea or vomiting is rare but can occur. The good news is that it often indicates a positive response to the cleanse. If it becomes too difficult to handle, we recommend gradually reintroducing solid foods and transitioning to a milder detox. We will assist you with a different schedule and provide the appropriate recipes.

Alternatively, you can use the juices as a multivitamin supplement, similar to most Frecious customers, by consuming one bottle per day alongside your regular diet.

What is causing the side effects?

If you stop eating certain foods combined with the processes that occur during your detox, withdrawal, and detoxification symptoms may arise.

These withdrawal and detoxification symptoms depend on various factors, including your overall health, regular eating habits, level of stress, medication, alcohol, and tobacco use, as well as exercise and sleep patterns, all of which can influence them.

During your detox, toxins are released and need to be eliminated from the body. Some individuals have a stronger detoxification capacity than others, so while some may experience no symptoms, others may experience side effects. Each body is unique.

By carefully following your preparation period, you can reduce the likelihood of detoxification symptoms. Additionally, we provide many tips during your detox on how to minimize the chances of side effects and what to do if you experience them.


What are the delivery costs?

For one-time orders below €99, the delivery cost is €5.95. For members, delivery is free. We use specialized freezer transport for delivery, which is more expensive but the only correct method for food-safe frozen transport. 

For orders of €99 or more, delivery is free within the environmentally friendly delivery window for one-time orders. There is an additional charge of €3.95 for a specific delivery window. Members do not pay a delivery fee, but the €3.95 surcharge still applies for a specific delivery window.

These costs may be slightly higher than what you are accustomed to paying for delivery, but the actual cost of delivery with the specialized freezer vehicles exceeds €20. We are happy to cover the majority of these costs. 

The specific delivery windows are: 08:00-14:30, 12:00-18:30, and 18:00-22:00. The environmentally friendly and free delivery window is between 08:00 and 22:00. On the day of delivery, you will receive a more precise 3-hour delivery time slot. Therefore, you don't have to wait all day.

According to the Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) requirement, the box is delivered at -15°C. Delivery in cool boxes with dry ice or cool packs often does not meet the requirements.

Where do you deliver?

Our transport partner, Leen Menken, delivers throughout the Netherlands, including the Wadden Islands.

What are the delivery days?

Monday to Friday

Delivery windows between:

08:00-14:30 or

Orders placed before 12:00 PM will be delivered the next day, except for Monday. For Monday delivery, the order must be placed before 12:00 PM on Friday.

How do I modify my order?

You can change the delivery address and time of your order until 12:00 PM on the day before delivery. This can be done in your Frecious account or by emailing us at [email protected]

For inquiries about delivery, please check the track & trace information that was sent to you via SMS and email. You can track the freezer vehicle in real- time.

How are the bottles delivered?

Deep-frozen using specialized freezer transport from Leen Menken.

When you do your online order, you can choose a time slot: morning, afternoon, or evening. On the day of delivery, you will receive an indication with a 3-hour accuracy.

*Except in cases of severe traffic or accidents.

You will receive a track & trace link via SMS and email to track the vehicle in real-time.

If you are not at home, the box will be returned under controlled conditions, so nothing will thaw. Redelivery will cost €15, unless, of course, the error lies with our transporter.

Can the delivery box be left behind?

This can only be done with clear instructions that we need at least one day in advance, along with a note on the door for the courier.

Delivering to neighbors: if there is no answer, the Leen Menken courier will attempt to leave the box with neighbors. This can only be done if the neighbors can store the box in a freezer or refrigerator.

Please make sure to communicate this arrangement with your neighbors,  otherwise, the driver will have to take the box back, and redelivery will cost €15. However, please note that the box will always be returned in a conditioned freezing environment, ensuring that nothing will thaw.

I haven't received my order, what should I do?

Check the track & trace link sent to you via SMS and email. You can track the freezer vehicle in real-time.

How long do the frozen vegetable juices last?

The juices can be kept fresh for up to 12 months after juicing. The best-before date is indicated on top of the bottle cap. Upon receipt, you can store the juices in your freezer and they will remain fresh for 8-11 months.

Liquid products that are rapidly frozen tend to stay extremely fresh. This is because tiny ice crystals are formed, and the smaller the crystals, the less "damage" they cause.

Extensive research has been conducted on shock freezing, which helps preserve almost all nutrients.

We have also conducted tests on our own juice from the same batch. After two weeks, we thawed the juice and had it analyzed in a laboratory (Eurofins). Compared to non-frozen juice from the same batch, there was only a 2% decrease in the overall vitamins and mineral content.

How long are the juices still good after thawing? 

When frozen, the juices remain fresh for up to one year. The best-before date is indicated on the bottle cap.

Once thawed (refrigerated and unopened), the juices maintain their high quality for an additional 3 days. After that, the juice does not immediately spoil. Slow-pressed juices remain stable for a long time due to their low oxygen content.

Vacuum-sealed bottles: our rapid shock-freezing process allows the small amount of air under the cap to escape. When thawing, the bottle becomes vacuum-sealed as the cap does not allow air to enter. Vacuum-sealing is ideal for preserving the nutritional potency of the juices.

Our process

What is slow juicing with a screw press?

Slow juicing with a stainless steel double screw press is a method to extract all the goodness (nutrients) from the fibers of the ingredients. It can be compared to thoroughly chewing on a raw piece of vegetable.

A screw press has screws that slowly and effectively extract all the nutrients from every fiber. The screw makes crushing and grinding movements.

It is the most effective method among all juicing techniques when it comes to making nutrients bio-available (readily absorbable). We conducted a test to determine the best juicer for this purpose. We compared a hydraulic cold-press juicer and a double-screw slow juicer. Laboratory analysis of four different juices showed that slow juice obtained, on average, 47% more nutrients from the same ingredients.

So, it is truly healthy while preserving the full and rich flavor.

What is in my juice?

Vegetables, herbs, spices, and a small amount of fruit. There are also juices available with no fruit at all. We don't add anything else: no water and no milk.

Why do you sometimes see a layer of water above the sediment? When juice settles, it may appear a bit strange, but it actually indicates freshness. The water you see is the natural water content present in the ingredients.

Frecious is gluten-free, lactose-free, and suitable for vegans.

Why is Frecious better than other juices?

We chose our juice method based on a laboratory test: pure mastication yields 47% more nutritional value.

The slow juicer (masticating juicer) is not widely used in the industry due to its cost and lack of scalability. However, because of its extremely high quality, we choose to exclusively work with this machine.

Freeze Police
Immediately after the juicing process, the bottles are rapidly frozen using a shock freezer. Shock freezing has been proven to preserve more nutritional potency compared to unnatural methods such as pasteurization or HPP (high-pressure processing).

Thawing = Unfolding
Regular juices tend to lose nutritional value per hour due to 1) storage, 2) transportation, and 3) shelf life in stores. What is stated on the label is no longer fully present.

We also exclusively use (valuable) organic ingredients, utilizing a minimum of 8 different ingredients per flavor. Additionally, vegetables are more expensive than fruits.

Green and responsible

Are Frecious products 100% organic?

Yes, Frecious is SKAL certified, so all the ingredients (vegetables, fruits, herbs, sprouts, and spices) we use are 100% organic.

Our SKAL number is 102096.
SKAL Biocentrale is the supervisory authority for the entire organic chain and ensures that products are organic and meet the legal requirements. 

What happens to the pulp that remains?

We use the leftover vegetable and fruit pulp from juicing to make our granola.
Our granola consists of 60% pulp.

We are also working on developing new "pulp products." If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask!

Are all bottles 100% recycled?

Yes, recycled plastic is considered more environmentally friendly than glass and bio-based plastics.

Glass may provide a pleasant taste experience, and many people believe it to be sustainable. However, when considering the entire lifecycle (production, transportation, waste management), glass has a larger ecological footprint than r-PET plastic.

Bio-based and plant-based bottles may seem like sustainable solutions, but they are not yet fully sustainable. We will be the first to switch to such alternatives once both production and waste management become sustainable. If you have any more questions or need further clarification, please let me know!

Are the bottles free from toxic substances (BPA)?

Yes. They are made from recycled r-PET that is free from toxins such as BPA, BBP, and BPS.

Special strict regulations exist for plastic packaging that comes into contact with food. This is referred to as "Regulation EU 10/2011 on plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food." All our bottles comply with this regulation.

What should I do with all those plastic bottles?

Plastic container in your area?
Then dispose of them separately in the plastic container.

No plastic containers in your municipality?
That means the waste processing center in your municipality uses "post-separation." These are modern facilities where plastic is very effectively separated from the residual waste.

Did you know...
100% recycled PET plastic is the most environmentally friendly solution compared to glass and current bio-plastics.

Do you work hygienically and food-safe manner?

Yes, our processes comply with the HACCP guidelines, and Frecious is registered with the Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA). HACCP stands for Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points and is a food safety system.

Is there a deposit on your bottles?

No, this regulation (as of July 1, 2021) is intended for (soft drink) bottles primarily purchased in physical stores. We advise our customers to responsibly dispose of our 100% recycled bottles (rPET).


Where else can I buy Frecious?

In addition to a select number of quality stores, (a selection of) our cold-pressed juices are available for individual purchase at Ekoplaza stores.

A selection of our products is also available for individual purchase at the online supermarket Crisp.

How can I use the Share Your Health code?

As a member, you can share your personal Share Your Health code with your friends, family, or colleagues. They will receive a €15 discount, and if a purchase is made using this code, you will receive four bottles for free.

It is not intended to share this promo code on public platforms. While it may result in more Frecious orders, it is not a fair way to receive free bottles. It may be creative, but it is not in line with the spirit of what we envision, which is personal word-of-mouth advertising.
